Cancer Insurance Plans
Over the years the cancer insurance
providers and plans have changed for some reason or
another. The convenience of payroll deductions have
continued for all plans.
In the summer of 2005, Specified
Critical Illness Insurance from UnumProvident became
available. This plan provides an option to include
'cancer' as a covered critical illness. For more
information about this plan, click on the link on
the left.
Previously offered cancer plans
were:
Central United Life (was Companion SafeNet)- This plan was a scheduled benefit plan
with various riders.
**All
Central United Life Cancer Plans will encounter a
rate increase effective 1-1-2008. This
increase will take effect automatically on your
first pay period following January 1, 2008.
Loyal American Life Insurance
- Two
plans from Loyal were offered.
